A FIRST school is set to be expanded to cater for an extra two year groups when it becomes a primary school.
Blakedown First, currently teaching children aged from five to nine, will welcome pupils up to the age of 11 from September 2004.
The change to a primary school is part of the Hagley education review which will see schools in that area switch from a three-tier system - first, middle and high schools - to a primary and secondary set-up.
