THE Pairs Cup fished on Sunday at Common Road Waters resulted in a win for D Packwood/R Woods 14.6.12; 2 S Thomson/E Summers 9.8.4; 3 D Underhill/E Williams 6.7.8.

Individual top weight was 12.10.0 caught by D Packwood with ground bait/feeder.

Evesham & District Disabled AC and Partnerships

MEMBERS met at Cranhill Farm Lake on Sunday for another round of the Wooffs Summer League, fishing under clear skies and hot temperatures.

Rita Barnett managed for the second week running to lead the anglers home, and also for the second week winning the bonus peg. In second place was perpetual framer Bill Scarrott with 2.13.0 and in third place was George Read with 2.1.0. Members are asked to contact the secretary by next Wednesday if they intend fishing at Jim's Lake on August 17.

Evesham WMC

WITH the Avon at Cleeve Prior looking perfect, fish were not feeding and so weights were low.

But Nat Prothrough found a few roach on the seed to win with 3.12.0, followed by Vic Woods again roach on the seed 2.13.0 and Mic Brooks just missing out with 2.12.8 of roach on the seed.
