GLOBETROTTING Bewdley councillors brought back a slice of American life when they were presented with an honorary plaque by their trans-Atlantic cousins.
Frank and Mavis Baillie were handed the gift - which will soon take pride of place at the Guildhall in Bewdley - by the president of Clarksville Town Council, John Minta.
The two agreed a "friendship link" this year and the Baillies made their way to Clarksville, in Indiana, to receive the plaque and hand over a photograph of Bewdley's elected representatives.
They accepted the plaque on behalf of Bewdley Twinning Association, members of which had already made another trip to the town, in May.
Mr Baillie said: "We are very pleased to have this link between the two communities."
