IN response to the letters from Paul Gittins and Pat Jones (Shuttle/Times and News, July 24) I have lived in Bewdley for40 years and the bikes have been there all that time.
I would like to point out that I too am a biker and park by the river on Severnside North on a weekend.
We do not obstruct, we do not cause trouble, smash windows, vomit or urinate in the street.
I like to talk to people, who walk past and look at the bikes, and the kids who look and smile.
I too like a drink by the river - from a tea at the cafe to a pint of beer in one of the pubs.
The pubs have never said that bikers are not welcome.
Severnside North has had £3 million spent on it - let us all enjoy it.
Pat Jones thinks she has a problem with traffic but I have 8,000 vehicles a day passing my house in Welch Gate.
