REGARDING the debate about the benefit or not of Wyre Forest having the country's only independent MP, I believe Dr Richard Taylor should retire at the next General Election.

One or other of the two main political parties, Labour and Conservative, will form the next government, and neither party will entertain the idea of giving any importance to a single MP out of 650.

As a Labour Party member, I am still campaigning for the return of medical services and a full blue light A and E unit at Kidderminster Hospital. Is Dr Taylor?

I believe I have more chance of getting a blue light unit than he has.

Let us stop pretending Health Concern are going to get any services without Labour.

Councillor Liz Davies said in the Shuttle/Times and News of July 18, 2002, that our new £20 million diagnostic and treatment centre will be "a waste of money".

With an attitude like that to the NHS, who needs Health Concern?
