VILLAGE FETE: A fete was held on the village green on Saturday, July 26 in aid of The Lifford Hall appeal fund.
Mrs Joy Stock, the chairman of the hall trustees stated that the event raised the grand total of £2,000. She expressed a big thank you to everyone who helped and supported us and made it a great day. She was particularly grateful to Dr Karen Block, who organised the raffle prizes.
Among the additional attractions were the Mencap stand (who also had a street collection in the village), the fire engine, the horse and cart and the pork baps stand.
