THE spectacular ruins of Witley Court have been put up for sale on the internet auction site eBay.
The current owners, the Wigington Family of Stratford Upon Avon, who have owned the ruined property for more than 50 years, put the stately home up for sale
An English Heritage spokesman said the charity was interested in buying Witley Court, but not at the reported £1m ebay auction price.
English Heritage will retain guardianship of the property regardless of who buys it.
