POLICE investigating the suspected murder of a Hereford skydiver whose parachute was sabotaged want people who were at an earlier skydiving event to come forward.
Army officer cadet Stephen Hilder, aged 20, took part in another parachuting competition two months before plunging 13,000ft to his death on July 4.
Humberside Police today said Mr Hilder competed at the Border Parachute Centre at Brunton Airfield in Chathill, Northumberland between Friday, May 2, and Sunday, May 4.
Det Supt Colin Andrews said: "We want to speak to anyone who was in his company there or anyone who know of any disagreements or significant events that took place."
