CHAINWIRE'S title hopes were boosted with a hard-earned winning draw against third-placed Belbroughton.
After being put into bat on an inconsistent wicket, Chainwire struggled early on but good middle and late-order batting helped them to 185-9.
Top scorers were Steve James (32) and Mark Meese (30).
Tight bowling and excellent fielding helped them restrict Belbroughton with danger man Mackenzie run out for 50.
Veteran Neil Colley (2-11), Mark Meese (2-25) and Jason Williams (2-40) all chipped in for the team who are unbeaten in 13 matches.
Chainwire 185-9, Belbroughton 115-8.
