IN your article (Evening News, Tuesday, July 22) on Worcester's vision for the future, Councillor Stephen Inman is quoted as saying : "With our adoption of our new vision for the city, we know where we're going and what we are hoping to achieve."

By this, does he mean the utter banality of the Tallow Hill retail park and the consented demolition of most of the recently extended Lowesmoor Conservation Area?

If so, this may well be a vision which few others share and most visitors will deplore.
