BEWDLEY TOWN 1, MALVERN TOWN 0

MALVERN Town went down to a first-minute goal against Bewdley Town last Thursday in their second friendly game.

Malvern fielded an experimental side with many new players who have been pre-season training in the starting line up.

The only goal came from a corner kick which was headed home at the far post from close range. Malvern gradually came into the game but despite several good chances were unable to force an equaliser.
