The second outing of the year was held on July 9 when 16 members and friends left Upton-on-Severn on the Marketbus boat at 11am, arriving at Tewkesbury at 12.15pm. The group arrived home at around 4pm.
A June wheelchair push and flag/collection days raised £1,110 towards lung research and medical equipment. The regional collection in Worcester on July 5 raised £850.
The next meeting will be on August 5 at Osborne Court, Osborne Road, Malvern Link, starting at 2.30pm, when there will be a speaker from the One on One Gymnasium.
There will be a change to the schedule in September as the meeting will be on the second Tuesday, September 9, at 2.30pm, at a destination still to be arranged. The speaker will be Dr S O'Hickey. Julia Heidstra will be the speaker on October 7 and the annual meeting will be on November 4. For further information telephone 01684 891653.
