A PENSIONER'S husband and son chased a mugger after he grabbed her bag and ran off.
The incident happened in Birchfield Road, Webheath, last Tuesday at about 11pm.
The woman, who is in her 60s, was walking along the road when a man ran at her from behind and snatched her bag away from her.
Her husband and son gave chase but the thief managed to escape into Coldfield Drive.
The victim fell to the ground and hurt her hip but did not need medical attention.
Her attacker was wearing a grey and burgundy top.
The woman's bag is believed to have contained both house and car keys.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call them on 08457 444888.
