AntiProduct are a band not for the faint-hearted.

A lot of the stuff they get up to would not be printable in a family paper, but it can be revealed that lead singer and guitarist Alex once stripped naked and was sick over celebrity Chris Evans.

It happened when Alex decided to get on top of a van, naked, and chant messages though the streets of London.

"It was rush hour at the time," says Alex, who hails from America.

"Normally I'm really shy, so I drank two bottles of wine in 45 minutes to pluck up courage to do it.

"I fell asleep on the van, I was out cold and someone came running out of a pub and goes 'Chris Evans is in there.'

"I woke up from my slumber basking in the June sun and I thought 'I'm going to be sick now, so I put my head over the side of the van just as Chris Evans came walking out of The Intrepid Fox pub.

"It didn't occur to me who that guy was."

In the two years since the band were formed, they have toured Japan, the US, the UK and Europe.

Some of their songs have found their way on to mainstream television on both sides of the Atlantic, including the Channel 4 hit series Teachers.

The band combine classic elements of punk, arena rock, metal and pop.

AntiProduct have played to metal fans all over Europe, starting with a riot in Italy on live television.

Alex says their gigs are a chance to let people "lose their inhibitions".

"We get kids swinging from stuff and running across the lighting rig," admits Alex.

For those with a strong stomach AntiProduct will be playing at Worcester's Marr's Bar tomorrow.
