SWIMMERS cooled off from the day's heat at the Splash, when it reopened with a new look on Monday.
After months of work, the swimming pool on Priory Road opened its doors with freshly decorated facilities including the pool, sauna and creche.
"It went swimmingly" joked Paula Caffull, sales and marketing manager at Splash, "About 60 people turned up to see what it looked like and everyone seemed very impressed."
It is hoped that by September, phase two of the project, the refurbishment of the showers and other facilities, will be completed.
The work will cost £1 million.
