n FOR heaven's sake, Mohammed Aslam (Evening News, Saturday, July 5) what do you want the courts to do when you said the ethnic minorities would feel betrayed because the young soldier did not get prison?
That young man has just come back from Iraq, where he has been through all sorts of things. You want him to be sent to prison. Maybe you should show a bit of compassion.
And think what he has been through for his country. This young man needs help, not prison. We all say and do things we don't mean. Why do you take things so personally?
