At the July meeting Pat Darby read a report from Mary Wehner about her visit, as delegate, to the Royal Albert Hall conference, when all resolutions were discussed, voted on and carried.
Details were given of the group pudding evening, an autumn quiz and a visit to Dudmaston Hall gardens.
Mr Denith, singer and accordianist, and Mr Price, sang old-time music hall songs, members joining in the familiar numbers.
The next meeting is on August 11, at Shaw Hedge Road community centre, starting at 7.15pm.
The theme will be Fashion for Weekenders.
