STROMNESS stormed back to form at Worcester yesterday.

The gelding has had a series of operations to cure a breathing problem. Everything, however, fell into place as he beat Beaver Lodge by 12 lengths in the staying novices' chase.

"He had his soft palate fired, for the third time," said King.

"We have to hope it's worked because he's a nice young horse and I was very pleased with his jumping today."
