LEE Denham will miss Worcester's home clash with London Welsh on Saturday because of a neck and shoulder injury.
The blindside flanker played just 25 minutes of Worcester's Premiership Two victory over Exeter Chiefs on Friday and was later taken to hospital.
X-rays revealed nothing was broken, but the 26-year-old signing from Leeds has been given a week's rest by the club.
"We've given him the week off as a precaution," said director of rugby Les Cusworth.
"He went to hospital and we've taken into account what was said. We'll assess his fitness next week."
Denham's Friday night replacement, Brett Scriven, is likely to start against the Exiles.
