WORCESTER City have arranged two glamorous pre-season friendlies with Nationwide League clubs.

First Division Wolves will come to St George's Lane on Monday, August 7 (7.45pm), while Second Division Bristol City visit on Wednesday, August 2 (7.45pm).

The Bristol City side will not, however, feature former Worcester defender Mark Shail, who has been released by the Ashton Gate club.

The 33-year-old former Droitwich High School pupil, who began his career at St George's Lane, made 128 League appearances in seven seasons.

Former City boss Graham Allner made an unsuccessful bid to bring Shail back to Worcester on loan last season.

City are hoping to arrange more friendlies over the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, City fans will have to pay £6 to watch their team in Dr Martens League Premier Division action next season.

Ground admission prices have gone up by 50p, with senior citizens and children being charged £3.50.

Season ticket prices have increased by £10 to £120 for the ground (£70 concessions) and £140 for the main stand (£90 concessions). There will be a £5 discount on all these prices for season tickets bought before July 1.

Georgie Dragon Club membership for juniors will cost £25, which includes a free replica shirt.

Admission to Central Conference games will cost £2 and for youth games £1 (£1 and 50p concessions respectively).

Westfields reached the Bob Biggart Trophy final with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out victory over Bishops Cleeve. They drew 1-1 after extra time with Matt Phillips scoring their goal.
