TROPHY-chasing Kidderminster Harriers stormed into the Worcestershire Senior Cup semi-finals last night with a 5-1 beating of neighbours Stourport Swifts.

But it was a clinical 10-minute first-half blitz from Harriers that decided the tie.

The home side scored four goals in that spell and ensured there was no way back for their plucky non-league opponents.

The gulf in class between Division Three and the Dr Martens League Western Division was often apparent, though Swifts battled hard to make a game of it.

Harriers enjoyed most of the play before taking a 22nd minute lead when Ian Foster curled over a cross from the right and Drewe Broughton headed home.

Sam Shilton added a second on 28 minutes with a lethal finish and a minute later Ducros disposessed Swifts keeper Adrian Hipkins to set up Foster for an easy third goal.

And on 32 minutes Ducros jinked inside after receiving a Shilton pass and arrowed a superb 15-yard finish into the top corner.

The contest was over but Swifts player- boss Tim Langford also had his shooting boots on as he rifled a 20-yarder past Stuart Brock in the 37th minute.

Some good Hipkins saves prevented Harriers from adding to their lead in a flat second half until Foster clinched a fifth goal three minutes from time.
