REDDITCH UNITED (1) 2 Hinckley United (1) 2

AN equaliser five minutes from time left Redditch still searching for their first home league victory of the season.

But it was just result as the Reds showed their defensive frailties for the second game running, despite coming back from 1-0 down after 15 minutes.

Had it not been for the heroics of Redditch keeper Dave Adey, Hinckley would have travelled back home with all three points.

The Reds fell behind from the first real opportunity of the game, when David Sadler beat three defenders to deliver an inch perfect cross which was met at the far post by a bullet header from Paul Hunter .

Hinckley continued to force the home side onto the back foot but they were hit on 35 minutes by a stunning goal from Ross Knight.

The left back picked up the ball just inside the Hinckley half, then cut inside two opponents before unleashing an unstoppable shot from 25-yards.

Molloy could have given Redditch the lead four minutes later but his downward header, from an in-swinging corner. bounced over the bar

After the break, Hinckley dominated the game with Sadler denied by Adey.

Redditch took the lead, against the run of play, with Knight heading in his second of the night after Andy Yapp's throw in was lobbed into the six-yard box by Peter Sutton.

Adey was then called into action denying Tommy Gallacher twice and then Hunter with help from the bar.

But the Redditch goal's charmed life was shattered in the 85th minute when the unmarked Charlie Palmer headed in at the far post from a corner, for a deserved equaliser.
