TIME is running out for people to register their views on genetically modified crops, a district campaigner has warned.
The Government's month-long consultation on the subject ends on Friday, July 18, and Vicky Randon urged the public to take part.
She said: "It is supposed to be finding out whether people want GM or not but they haven't publicised this."
Mrs Randon, of Callow Hill, has already collected 200 signatures from Bewdley shoppers calling for more research into the effects of GM crops and plans to take the petition - to be sent to the Government - to Kidderminster's farmers market tomorrow.
