The visit was suggested by President Kath Oakley following the decision not to go ahead with the visit to Worcester Herb Garden in August.

Members were advised to enquire about the possibility of a reduction in their water rates, if rainwater from their property goes into a soakaway.

Terry Church gave an amusing talk on life in the Black Country.

On Friday, July 25, there will be a forest outing evening in Astley Village Hall, at 7.30pm. Family and friends are welcome.

The next meeting is on Wednesday, at 10am in the Memorial Park Community Centre, Stourport.

Joan Peck will demonstrate flowers for anniversaries and other occasions. Visitors are welcome.
