LOWLY Brintons produced an improved display but still slipped to a 10-run defeat in Division Five.
They narrowly lost a high-scoring and exciting match against Hewell after dismissing their opponents for 187.
Ian Waldron claimed 3-36 and then Andy Maiden scored 59 runs with the bat but Brintons fell short.
