Dear Editor - I read with interest the letter about problems with speeding in Fernhill Heath.
Here in the Broad Street/Sidemoor area of Bromsgrove, we also have big problems.
As York Road leading into Lincoln Road is quite straight, it is used for speed trials by the local speed freaks - 0-60mph in three seconds is nothing around here.
Virtually every evening and weekend, you can hear the screech of tyres and the revving of engines. We now have lots of young and even older kids that think they are at Brands Hatch. With lots of children playing in the street in this area, you will not have to wait long before a child is killed.
It is high time the police used their cameras down here - they would make a fortune.
