Studley manager Mark Chambers pronounced himself happy with his side's draw, despite being pitted against a Rushall team who narrowly missed promotion to the Southern League last season.

Kevin Hadley's side were denied promotion despite finishing runners-up to Stourbridge in the Midland Alliance.

The prize on offer for a preliminary round win is a potential money-spinner at home to Dr Martens League Western Division neighbours Bromsgrove Rovers, provided they can beat Cradley Town or Daventry Town, who meet in an extra preliminary round tie on Saturday, August 23.

The Bees have a kinder proposition in the Second Round Qualifying of the FA Vase where they open their campaign at home to a Wednesfield side who finished rock bottom of last season's Alliance to be relegated into the Express and Star League Premier Division.

Studley put 13 goals past them in two league meetings last season but Chambers warned against complacency.

The prize money for a Studley win at that stage has risen £300 to £500.
