Astwood Bank - Death of Mrs T Hollington. We regret to record that Mrs Thomas Hollington, of Astwood Court, died rather suddenly on Thursday night in the last week.
The deceased lady who had but recently recovered from a serious illness had been apparently very much better than usual and had superintended her domestic affairs with more ease than she had for some time.
She retired to rest between nine and ten o'clock and was attended by her daughter Miss Lizzie Hollington who on hearing an unusual sound went to the bedside of her mother just in time to see her pass away.
Death was attributed to heart failure.
The deceased lady was 75 years of age and was of a quiet and generous disposition.
