Steps are being taken to curb the number of accidents taking place at the notorious Middlehouse Lane, Windsor Road and Birmingham Road junction.
After consultation with district councillors and corporation chiefs, county traffic authorities have agreed to redirect traffic from Unicorn Hill down Alcester Street onto the Coventry Highway - thus encouraging traffic to avoid Birmingham Road.
Traffic chiefs have also decided to narrow Birmingham Road at its approach to the junction in an effort to cut down speed.
