MEMBERS turned up for Sunday's penultimate round of the Bradley and Bingley Spring League matches when they fished the lake at Forest Farm.

Despite the fish crashing around the margins, Clive Harman put 10.0.0. on the scales to win the match.

In second place was wife Joyce (7.4.0) and in third was Howard Norledge (3.0.0).

In the Partnership's Knockout Cup, Duncan Lamb saw off the close challenge of Bill Scarrott to progress to the next round.

Members are asked to support the club's car boot sale on Saturday afternoon and to meet on Sunday at the venue for the draw at 8am.

Evesham Youth AC

THE club took second place overall for the second successive year at the British Youth Pole Championships.

The event was fished at Hillgay Lakes in Norfolk and a trio of members also claimed runners-up spots in their respective sections.
