FOUR pupils at a Worcester school jetted off to France yesterday, to star in a TV show about education at home and abroad.
St George's CE Primary School, St George's Lane, was selected by the BBC Think About It series as the ideal location to film the English school day, before witnessing first-hand how the French system compares.
The lucky pupils - Umbra Munir, Olivia Clarke, Chloe Hughes and Ben Williams , aged between nine and 11 - left for Lille, in northern France, accompanied by their headteacher, Steve Mills.
"We took the children to France in October so they know something of the French culture already," said Mr Mills. "It will be a good experience and all four pupils are very excited about it."
The BBC selected the quartet because they appeared so natural in front of the camera, and they will return from the two-and-a-half day trip this weekend.
The educational programme, which is aimed at an audience of seven to nine-year-olds, is due to be shown in November, this year.
