MALVERN U15s started the new season with a cup win over Worcester CC last week.

Malvern won the toss and elected to bat. A fine opening stand of 89 off 12 overs put Malvern in a strong position.
Dovey fell first being run out for 40, his partner Croad remained not out on 27 with Poole and Hall both contributing to a final total of 109 off their allotted 16 overs.
Worcester required nearly seven an over and were always behind. Iqbal and Challis fell in quick succession but a splendid knock by Van Buran, who finished on 46no, ably supported by Jenifer (14), took Worcester close but they finally finished on 87.
Cunneen (2-5) was supported by some tight bowling from Poole, Hughes, Knight and Dovey.
