MANOR Park IBC's Roger Brown, Eddie King, Jeff Jones and Derek Waters won the county fours championship for the first time beating Neil Brereton's All Star four from Bromsgrove.
Albert Robbins, Jeff Jones and Eddie King were not so fortunate, losing the triples to the very strong Addie Burbridge three, all Liberty Cup players from Worcester.
Jeff Jones also won the Malvern singles title for the third year running equalling Liberty Cup team partner's Marcus Smith and Edric Vorsterman's record.
Anyone interested in bowls is invited to go along to Manor Park indoor bowls club and give it a try or join one of the three outdoor clubs, Manor Park, Malvern Victoria or Malvern Priory. You will be made very welcome.
