I was heartened to read of the intention to fit a lift to the medieval Market House in Ledbury.
It indicates that, even for those disabled by a total lack of aesthetic understanding, a tendency to vandalism and by crass and irredeemable stupidity, there may still be a place where they might be usefully employed - on Ledbury Town Council.
