Every weekday, volunteers deliver a hot meal to people in Kidderminster, but due to retirement, holidays and sickness, the group is short of volunteers. Anyone who could spare an hour and a half once a week, fortnight or month to help, would be much appreciated, so the WRVS can continue to deliver this worthwhile service.
The service provides 220,000 meals-on-wheels to people in their own homes each year, and local meals are supplied by the group's kitchens in Kidderminster.
A mileage rate of 38p per mile is paid.
