WYRE Forest Community Housing has come up with a £50,000 package of investment at Borrington Road playing fields, including play equipment for young children, a football area and facilities for teenagers.
There are also plans afoot to convert old changing rooms at the fields into a drop-in centre for young people.
It should all add up to a dramatic improvement in the quality of life for all residents.
