IAN Foster is still thinking over his next move after an enjoyable four years at Aggborough came to an end with his last game for Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

The striker, whose goals helped lift Harriers into Division Three in 2000, has been mainly confined to a substitute role this season under Ian Britton.

Out-of-contract Foster, 26, admitted he is keen to stay in the Midlands after settling in Kidderminster.

The Liverpudlian, linked with moves to Burton and Chester, said: "I'm hugely disappointed to be going. I've enjoyed my four years here immensely.

"I had a great reception from the fans here on Saturday but then I've always had that. From day one, they have been great to me.

"The four years seem have to have gone in a flash but when you look back at what has happened it's amazing.

"Winning the title was fantastic. Your name goes down in history. It took the club 115 years to get into the Football League and I was immensely proud to be part of it.

"I'm staying in Kidderminster, that's how much I like the place, and I wish the lads here well."

Foster turned down an offer from Burton to fight for a place at Harriers in a bid to help them into the Division Three play-offs this season.

It did not work out for the speedy striker who confessed: "It wasn't really a difficult decision. I wanted to stay here and give it my best shot."

But Foster added he owes former boss Jan Molby for giving him the chance at Harriers after he left Barrow.

It could well be the two are reunited in the summer if Molby makes a return to football management somewhere.
