SDM Spinners' Luke Moffat and Andy Bryant won their last two matches 5-0 over Littleton Blades and Littleton Rock and Rollers to clinch the Evesham and District Association's H2O Plumbing and Heating Division 3A League title.

Spinners, who lost only one match all season, won the league by six points when their nearest rivals Evesham Emperors lost their last two matches.

They went down to Evesham Eagles 3-2 with Alan Chung beating both Rob Sinderberry and Bob Bryant with Zak Wilson also getting the better of Bryant.

Sam Byrd beat the two Emperors and, together with Ollie Smith, also won the doubles when SDM Outlaws beat the Emperors 3-2.

Evesham Eagles took third spot when they beat Evesham Dynamos 3-2 with Chung winning two singles.

SDM Firebolts' Tom Ruther-ford and Matthew Powell both overcame Graham Finch but Don Gould won his two singles and, with Finch, the doubles in St Peters' 3-2 victory a 12th out of their last 13 matches.

In Division 3B, Jamie Brown and Craig Pitcher (Wyre Snips) beat Blackminster Bats 4-1 to leave Littleton Bulldozers requiring maximum points from their last two matches to deny them the title.

They beat clubmates Leopards 5-0 but Katie Sellick accounted for David Targett 10-12, 12-10, 6-11, 11-5, 12-10 to put Eve-sham Swallows 1-0 ahead.

That was all they could manage as Matt Goode beat Sellick and Liam Wilson, Targett also beat Wilson and, together Goode and Targett, took the doubles and the title by a single point.
