Wednesbury 19 Ludlow 24-

LUDLOW's good form continued with a fine away win at Wednesbury in the Midlands Four West (North) match on Saturday.

Rob Evans opened the scoring when he broke from the back of a maul to drive over for a try with Williams adding the conversion.

Willie Williams extended Ludlow's lead with a penalty after the Wednesbury forwards were penalised for offside

Wednesbury soon responded with their opening try via their forwards which they converted.

Just on the stroke of half time, Ludlow extended their lead with a well-worked move through the backs, Ross Faulkner finishing off the move in the corner. Derek Sandell added the conversion.

Just after the break Wednesbury scored their second try through their fly half and the conversion was added.

Mid-way through the half Ludlow scored their third try when they won their line-out ball on the Wednes-bury five-yard line and Dave Evans was at the back of the maul to touch down. Williams added the conversion.

However, Wednes-bury had the last say of the game with a late consolation try.
