CLEE paid the penalty for a slow start to the second half and had to settle for a share of the spoils in their home fixture with Drayton.
The home team started well, playing some good attacking football but without creating too many clear-cut scoring chances. Liam Edwards went close with a header and then midway through the half, Nick Wilding scored with a shot from the edge of the box. They continued to push forward but were unable to increase their lead.
The second half saw the Hill start poorly and hand the initiative to Drayton, who took full advantage to lay siege on the home goal. Following a series of corners, they equalised although there was an element of debate about the legality of the goal. Keeper Kevin Gittens appeared to have the ball in his hands only for it to be knocked out and end-up in the back of the net. This woke up the Hill and Edwards saw a shot go just over the bar and Neil Martin netted but the goal was ruled out for a foul.
