KIDDERMINSTER Harriers line up against Swindon in the LDV Vans Trophy tonight (7.45) with Ian Britton promising to fine players who pick up silly bookings.

The Aggborough manager intends to clamp down on indiscipline by increasing fines after seeing both Scott Stamps and Sean Flynn sent off in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Carlisle United.

"I'm sick and tired of the type of bookings we are picking up, particularly for silly things like dissent or kicking the ball away and from now I will be increasing fines," he said.

Tonight's match is the first of two big cup games at Aggborough for Harriers, with a money-spinning first round FA Cup encounter with Rushden & Diamonds to come on Saturday.

Britton, who yesterday sat his players through a video of Saturday's match, will not risk Bo Henriksen (thigh strain) unless he is fully recovered but is relishing the match for several reasons.

"After a disappointing Saturday it is an early opportunity to get back on track in another game," he said.

"The LDV Vans Trophy is always important for clubs like Kidderminster even though there is no money in this round.

"No matter what competition you enter or what league you are in, you want to win.

"We are very much the underdogs tonight no matter what anybody says, but I just want to see a much improved performance and get back to the way we have been playing.

"Dean Bennett is out and I won't make a decision on Henriksen's fitness until later but I won't risk him due to the fact that we have the FA Cup game on Saturday and there is more money to be made in that."

Despite Saturday's defeat, confidence is high in the Harriers' camp and Britton remains buoyant.

"Although it was disappointing from the weekend, people tend to forget that we are still sixth in the league with a game in hand and that was only our third defeat of the season," he said.

Swindon boss Andy King will be without Manchester United youngster Jimmy Davis who has completed his loan spell at the club, but they are unbeaten in five games -- a run that was started by the 6-1 win over Southend in the previous round.

FORMCAST: Harriers to go through with 2-1 win.
