SUBSTITUTE Mark Benbow's injury time strike booked Rovers' place in round three.

Trailing 3-2 with four minutes to go, Steve Daley's men staged a stunning comeback at the Victoria Ground last night to leave neighbouring Redditch in shock.

A delighted Daley said: "We showed character to come back from a goal down to lead at the break then we did it again in the second half.

"All four goals were excellent and I was pleased with the new lads' performances -- Quinten Townsend and Danny Rochester both played very well.''

The incredible series of events unfolded like this:

Twelve minutes -- Jamie Hart headed Redditch in front with a far post, downward header from Ross Knight's cross.

Forty minutes -- Alex Winstone's header from Rochester's corner was saved by visiting goalkeeper Dave Adey, only for Greg Parkes to nod the ball in from six yards.

Forty-five minutes -- An excellent move, started in midfield by Parkes and Winstone, allowed Kevin Jinks to gallop unhindered down the left channel. His unselfish square ball was turned in from close range by a grateful Rochester.

Fifty-three minutes -- striker Michael Moore levelled the scores with a neat turn and shot following some non-existent Rovers' defending.

Fifty-eight minutes -- Moore was there again with a shot at the near post that squirmed beyond the reach of Nore Gabbidon.

Eighty-six minutes -- Sub Robert Hunter delivered a perfect left wing cross for Steve Ulfig to beat Adey with a glancing header at the near post.

Ninety-four minutes -- Party time! Kevin Ashley's right wing cross was half cleared as far as Mark Benbow, back in the side after injury, who managed to lob a dumbfounded Adey with his back to goal.

What a thriller -- and much-needed solace following Saturday's Shepshed debacle.

Daley can be proud of the spirit shown by his young side, who always looked favourites to win after Ulfig's goal and then pushed for a fifth as Redditch visibly withered.
