MALVERN Dogs team travelled over to Evesham, a first team fixture of just three seasons ago, and came away with a win despite only travelling with 13 players.
EVESHAM 18pts, MALVERN II 'DOGS' 20pts
Playing in heavy conditions Malvern soon found themselves trailing to an early onslaught from the home side.
Gradually though they adapted well and managed, through good work all round, to cross the line through Ben Ash.
Down 12-5 at the half, the Dogs really turned it on after the break with two more tries from Ash, and another from Ben Hughes. Despite strong home pressure the Dogs held on for a well deserved victory.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the Dogs are at home to local rivals Bromsgrove II.
