HARD work and a caring attitude added up to success for a Barclays bank workers from Droitwich Spa.
Sarah Muckle scooped the Barclays 2003 Chairman's Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the local community.
The Droitwich resident was recognised after organising a week-long event which saw 140 members of staff taking part in house makeover for the United Response charity.
Sarah received a certificate, a memento of the occasion and a cheque for £250 payable to the charity of her choice.
She will go forward to the national awards, which will be presented by the Barclays Chairman Sir Peter Middleton, at a London awards ceremony in May.
National winners will each receive a cheque for £1,000 for a charity of their choice.
