SEAN Parrish is back in contention for a place in Kidderminster Harriers' side for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Darlington at Feethams (3pm).

The 30-year-old midfielder has declared himself fit after missing Harriers' last two matches with hamstring trouble.

Utility player Adie Smith will also be pushing for a place in the starting line-up after recovering from ankle surgery in time to feature as an unused substitute in last Saturday's 2-0 home defeat against second-in-the-table Rushden & Diamonds.

Young front-runner Matt Lewis will also be available after returning from a loan spell with Dr Martens League Premier Division side Bath City.

Striker Drewe Broughton, however, will again be missing as he serves the third game of his four-match suspension while defender Scott Stamps remains on the casualty list following a groin operation.

With Parrish, Smith and Lewis available again Kidderminster boss Ian Britton admits he welcomes the chance of having a wider range of options to make changes.

He said: "With all the injuries and the fact that we've got a small squad, I haven't had enough numbers to make changes. Now I've got more options.

"Sometimes, you need to shake things up. Sometimes, players need a break and now we have got the personnel to do that."

Mid-table Harriers will be hoping to go one better than they did when they drew 1-1 at home to The Quakers in August when Ian Foster was the Aggborough outfit's marksman from the penalty spot.

Although Kidderminster's play-off hopes were dented by last Saturday's defeat against Rushden, Britton is confident that his side can finish the season in a top seven spot.

He said: "There will be other chances to make the play-offs as we go along. Quite a few teams are breaking in and out of the top seven."

Darlington, under caretaker manager Mick Tait, are currently 17th in the table with six of their 12 home league matches so far this season having ended deadlock.

FORMCAST: Harriers will need to work hard for a goalless draw.
