HOT-SHOTS Mangotsfield United are the next challenge for in-form Stourport Swifts who made it three wins in a row on Saturday.

The 3-0 success over fellow Dr Martens Western Division bottom-half side Shepshed Dynamo lifted Swifts to sixth from bottom, their best position all season.

But their improvement under boss Dave Titterton will be severely tested on Saturday at Mangotsfield as they have now blasted 75 goals in 25 games following Tuesday's 5-0 thrashing of Evesham.

Titterton said: "Mangotsfield are just very good going forward but we have a plan of attack and are not going down there on the back of three defeats but three wins.

"Nobody in this league is unbeatable and if you are playing the better teams, especially away from home, if you can keep them at bay for 25 minutes or so you can get yourselves into the game.

"Teams like Mangotsfield should suit us as they will come forward and we have a lot of pace to hit them on the break."

Swifts welcome back midfielder Tim Nicholls and five-goal top scorer Richard Ball from suspension but front-man Michael Moore has been struck by injury again, facing up to a month out with a back injury.

Titterton, who is still looking to bring in defensive cover, added: "We played some good football against Shepshed even though they are below us.

"It's nice to get a couple of wins at home on the bounce too as our home form hasn't been good enough and we needed to rectify that."

Swifts visit struggling Bedworth on Tuesday (7.45pm) in the second of a run of three away matches on the trot.
