AN ABDOU Sall header finally put the lights out on Swindon Town's LDV Vans Trophy challenge last night as Kidderminster Harriers won 3-2.

Harriers triumphed over a 75-minute kick-off delay due to power failure, a two-goal deficit and then conjured up Sall's extra-time golden goal winner.

Swindon were 2-0 up after goals from Danny Invincibile on 39 minutes and Alan Young two minutes into the second half.

But an amazing turn-around of two goals in 120 seconds through top scorer John Melligan and Drewe Broughton put Harriers level by the 49th minute.

Sall then stooped to nod home a Sam Shilton corner from close range for the decisive goal seconds before the half-time whistle in extra-time.

Boss Ian Britton declared: "I told the players to up their performance and take the game to Swindon at half-time because we may just as well lose 3-0 than 1-0.

"We battered Swindon in the second half and the game should have been over before extra-time.

"We were 2-0 down to a Second Division club but we matched them for courage, work-rate, fitness and with good play as well which was the pleasing thing."

Invincibile shrugged off Sall to fire a near-post finish under keeper Stuart Brock while Harriers were down to 10 men due to an injury to Scott Stamps.

A dreadful error by defender Craig Hinton gifted Young a second goal but Sean Parrish began the quick revival by providing Melligan with a tap-in.

Ian Foster's low cross was finished by Broughton at the far post for the equaliser.

Swindon had a 94th minute effort by Invincibile ruled out for offside before Sall removed the threat of penalties with a header to reward Harriers' non-stop endeavour.
