FIVE Ways Old Edwardians take another much-needed break from league action on Saturday when the club stages a testimonial for prop John Woolley.

The Masshouse side went down to an almost respectable 50-7 home defeat to high-flying Veyseyans at the weekend to take them to a points against tally of 926 from 17 straight Powergen North Midlands One defeats.

The relegated side have their final chance to pick up a result against second from bottom Stourport in their last match.

The Worcestershire side had their relegation confirmed with a 50-12 defeat to Solihull at the weekend and present Five Ways with their best chance of avoiding a pointless season.

A more realistic target will be to avoid shipping 1,000 points and Old Eds will achieve that if they restrict their opponents to less than 74 points.

A Woolley XV take on a Five Ways XV in the Masshouse testimonial on Saturday (ko 2.15pm).
