Redditch midfielder Neil Cartwright has joined arch rivals Bromsgrove Rovers after parting with the club by mutual consent.
The Halesowen Town old boy links up again with former Reds number two Gary Hackett, joint manager at Rovers.
Reds boss Rod Brown has hinted he may go back to Bilston to sign a player who is part of the exodus after the troubled Black Country club slashed their budget.
But he will have to wait 28 days after raiding the Steelmen for his former Stourport captain Lea Shaw.
