ROD Brown's trimming of the Redditch United squad continued yesterday with the release of forward Mark Swann.
Swann, another of Rob Smith's signings to fall victim to the Brown revolution, has had an injury-hit season and is currently nursing a hamstring problem.
"I want to pass on my best regards to the players and fans at Redditch United because I love the club," he told the Advertiser.
Combative defender Tommy Byrne was released on Wednesday.
Byrne, previously a professional with the Cape Cod Crusaders, is another Smith signing who has been hampered by injuries since signing from Willenhall Town.
